This is a double ended sock blank, It is possible to knit two pairs of socks directly from this blank. To have the gradient going the same direction, one sock will have to be knitted either cuff down or toe up and the other one will have to be knit in the reverse direction from the first.

 

Companion Sole

• 75% Superwash Merino 25% Nylon
• Fingering sock Weight 
• Each skein weighs 100g and is 425 meters
• Approximately 8 stitches per inch on 3.25mm needles

Companion sole is a slightly hardier version of Companion 4ply suitable for both garments and socks.


• This skein is machine washable, though to preserve colour and texture in your garments, gentle hand washing is recommended
• All skeins undergo a 4-5 step washing process but some colours are prone to a small amount of bleeding in their first or second wash, due to this we recommend washing in cold water with a gentle detergent or wool wash.
